The Message is the Focus
đŸ“£ Confession time: I gave a great presentation… and came home with zero pictures or video. đŸ˜©
At first, I was disappointed. I thought I’d failed to document a moment I was proud of. But then, a few kind attendees shared their photos with me. When I looked, I noticed I wasn't the focus of any of the photos, and something shifted
.I realized: I was never supposed to be the focus.
The message was.
As speakers, presenters, and leaders, we can forget that. But it’s not about spotlighting us—it’s about bringing forward what’s been entrusted to us.
đŸ’¡ Next time you step up to speak, remember:
You’re not the center. Your message is.
Philippians 2:3-4 (NIV)
"Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others."
